As part of our current Green School's theme-Travel, we are encouraging all families to 'Walk on Wednesdays' (WOW) to school. This morning a pilot walk was organised by a number of parents starting from 'The Shanty'. The majority of all the families in our school walked which was fantastic! We were so heartened to see all the high vis vests coming into the school yard at 8.50am with some red faces and some very excited children (and parents!).

Pupils celebrated Halloween a little early in Ballyfinane last Friday. We had some really scary costumes and it was great to see 'home-made' costumes are still very much in fashion! Mr. O' Sullivan, our Learning Support teacher, decided to make pizzas with the children as an end of term treat. Thank you Mr. O' Sullivan for all your help.
